This topic was coming. Have you ever criticized something that ultimately you ended up liking?
This has happened to me a few times, and every time it happens it wrings my strong pride.
Sometimes this guilty pleasure is easy to accept, as when it comes to a TV show, a fictional character, or even a person. This however, is different...

All my life I evaded fashion. The biggest reason was because I was never satisfied with my physical appearance, even today I have complex with certain part of my body (fine, I hate my upper arms!), and the other reason was because I really didn't understand it. Studying photography, we briefly touch the topic of haute couture. The result? I thought it was madness. I didn't see anything nice or aesthetic in it. The models were rare, and the more rare, the better. They could be modeling with one foot in a bowl of spaghetti and it was modern art.

Now, let's talk about trends. There are trends that I detested. For example, the one that was born in England, the rabbit teeth... I never approved it; the ballerinas with 10 centimeters platform, nope. Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, sorry but not yet!

Despite all these feelings of incomprehension and disgust, fashion came to my heart to stay. Yes. No. I can't believe it either.
I mean, I'm not a fashionista, I don't feel devotion to the couture clothing (as I have already set) but apparently, coming into an agency that was very involved in this world, I began to like fashion. I became interested in specific brands of clothing, shoes, bags; I started reading news about the stores would open in my country; I started looking at magazines and websites not only as visual references; I started following bloggers, and well ... the idea is clear.

I like fashion, and not only my clothes, but also my way of designing has been influenced by it.  My entire life doesn't revolves around it yet, but I really enjoy going shopping, and I'm glad people like my mother and my boyfriend are happily able to walk for 5 or more hours with me in a shopping center.
To tell the truth... sometimes, I still can't believe myself.
I'm thinking that this may affect my future interestingly. And by the way, I'm only an amateur yet.

Hellooooo! I know I have no excuses, but last week was crazy! I had a work meeting while I went to meet the new apartment of a friend, I finished designing and programing a website, it was the birthday of my boyfriend (provincial style, lasted 3 days and 4 nights), I took some photos, plus we attend another family commitment. I thought that at some point I would have time to get distracted here on Livejournal but life is never what you expect.

So yes, I've been busy and pretty excited. I always like this feeling when you're being productive but you're having fun at the same time. And that made me decide about the topic of this week.

I love taking photos. I don't consider myself a prodigy photographer but I really like when someone ask me to take pictures for a job or a proyect. I also get really nervous and don't know what to say at the moment but, at the end I almost always agree.
